Koch Applied is proud to announce that Tom Kyner has accepted the role of the Division Manager of Power & Utility for our company, Lathrop Trotter. Tom will be taking over the role that was filled by Steve Beegle. Steve’s family will be relocating to Florida where Steve will work as a consultant for Lathrop Trotter.
Tom has an impressive background and career working in the utility segment and has worked with our team calling on customers for the last eight months.
Earlier in his career, Tom served in the United States Air Force as a sergeant in the 443rd Civil Engineering Squadron, Altus AFB in Altus, Oklahoma. He has also worked for boiler OEMs and construction companies in positions such as project engineer, project manager, and project executive as well as business development. Has traveled extensively around the world working with international power companies.
Thus far, Tom Kyner has been a tremendous asset to Lathrop Trotter and Koch Applied. As Division Manager of Power & Utility, Tom will be focused on:
- Organizing, training, and developing departmental sales and support staff to optimize our Principals’ priorities and to assist our end users in day-to-day operations and project development.
- Identifying new accounts and their development needs, and actively getting involved to develop action plans and strategies to grow strong and viable business relationships.
- Developing and implementing clear sales, marketing programs, and action plans to meet sales and gross margin objectives.
- Developing sales and marketing budgets for the sales department and controlling expenses accordingly.
A new System Sales Engineer, covering the Southern Indiana and Western Kentucky territory, will be with Lathrop Trotter shortly. In the meantime, please reach out to Tom at the contact information provided.
