Scott Ward joins the Lathrop Trotter team as a System Sales Engineer. His focus will be on representing our manufacturing partners in the power and utility markets throughout Southern Indiana and Western Kentucky.
Scott will assist utility customers with day-to-day operations through parts specification and problem solving. By providing equipment and services for upgrades and system improvements, he will help customers ensure plant efficiency, equipment longevity, and regulatory compliance.
Working in the absorption cooling and heat pump industry for over 20 years, Scott has had exposure to a variety of verticals and has worked closely with groups in the mechanical, plumbing, and electrical engineering sectors, as well as with multiple utility and energy organizations. His career has allowed him to be part of various organizations and committees, including policy consultation, private and governmental product category review throughout North America, and more. Scott’s degree is in Industrial Technologies with a focus on HVAC/R systems.
When he is not working, Scott enjoys spending time with family and friends. His interests include outdoor cooking and home improvement. While he has been passionate about football throughout his life, more recently his sports interests have shifted to include his daughter’s athletic activities.
