Lathrop Trotter is pleased to welcome Kevin Shea to our team! Kevin joins us as our newest System Sales Engineer, working directly with assigned power and utility customers to develop customized air and power system solutions. Kevin will meet with customers to understand their present and future needs, and work with our manufacturers to develop effective and dependable solutions to meet those needs.
Kevin is an accomplished sales manager and United States Air Force veteran with an extensive technical background, as well as diverse experience in domestic and international sales. Prior to joining Lathrop Trotter, he worked in the area of Business Development and Sales for NRG Energy Services with a focus on third party Operations & Maintenance for Coal facilities, Gas Turbine Simple & Combined Cycle facilities, and Renewable wind/solar farms.
Kevin began his career working as a jet engine technician in the United States Air Force. He began his private sector career in Cincinnati, working in a variety of roles for GE Aerospace and GE Power. He has also held diverse sales and engineering positions for other companies throughout the U.S. and abroad.
Kevin and his wife, Michelle, have four children, Meghan, Madelyn, Matthew, and Meredith, all of whom have grown up in Cincinnati. Kevin and Michelle keep busy visiting and attending OSU/UC/Auburn sporting events. Their youngest, Meredith, is a senior in high school and will be heading off to OSU in the fall.
