Lathrop Trotter is proud to welcome Jon Allred to the role of Inside Sales Engineer. His role is to support our clients and team members with accurate quotes and to follow up on their needs with great communication. As part of his responsibilities, he will be looking for ways to assist the Lathrop Trotter team, best serving all parties by working to improve data collection and efficiency, working from the Cincinnati office.
Jon is originally from Akron, Ohio, but has most recently been a Cincinnati resident for more than 20 years. He attended Miami University, and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Education, which led him to become a science teacher. He later attended Xavier University and earned a Master of Arts in Counseling, then worked as a middle school counselor. Jon also attended the University of Cincinnati, and completed a Physics through Inquiry program. He then took on a whole new challenge as an HVAC Learning & Development Coordinator.
In his free time, Jon loves to spend time in his backyard, where he’s created a natural getaway from the urban environment. He and his wife have a variety of pets, currently including four chickens, a dog, and a horse. He enjoys traveling, camping, snowboarding, playing golf and working on old houses. Jon is also an avid basketball fan, particularly watching his daughter and her teammates compete in both AAU ball and varsity basketball.
To stay involved in his community, he is a member of the Oakley Community Council. Jon is also a realtor for friends and family.
